ARTIST / CRAFTSPERSON / ART EDUCATOR

I integrate my teaching, art-making and personal growth with my core belief that the arts are a central and necessary part of our development and healing as humans.

about me

I fell in love with Clay in 2000 while living in Albuquerque and learning from my first mentor, Lou D’Amico. I realized that clay had a lot to teach me and that I had a lot to express through it. I have been learning about my creative capacity through clay ever since.

I decided to become an art teacher and studied visual art at CCP in Philadelphia, PA and art education at RISD in Providence, RI. The studio life was expansive and calming, but I needed community to fill my whole self and grow in relation to the rest of the world! I now teach Ceramics in a large public high school in Philly. I live and continue to create art in Collingswood, NJ.
